Just realised today...

...that I like how the wind breeze through my head...

The sun gives me headaches. It was close to unbearable when I was in Munich...

Wished reality was different today...can't control what you can't control right...

I guess that tingling feeling yesterday was true...

Nurburgring

First time being at Nurburgring (not the F1 race track) for the weekend.

Too bad I don't have a valid license in Europe, and too bad I don't have an awesome car.

I totally didn't expect so many people..! Disappointed that there weren't that many variety of cars... :( But still awesome to check out all the cars that are there. No respect for those who have suped up automatic cars...sorry, but it just doesn't make any sense to me on why you would pimp up your car and not make full use of it. It's like...getting a PS3 just to only watch DVDs. Fine, if you want to show-off.

So all in all, I think we did around 20 laps within 3 days. So that's about ~430km of fast driving?! Was also nice spectating and generally talking to people...Too bad I didn't see any crashes... XD Saw quite a number of near-crashes though! Was...WOW! XD Too bad drifting was not allowed on the track... X(

We also made a video. Too bad there's only one. We didn't have the opportunity to film more... :/ We have another, but I guess my friend didn't put it up yet, 'cuz it's pretty bad...haha

The G-force was awesome! Never felt such force before, except on rollercoasters.

And again, too bad I don't have a valid license in Europe, and too bad I don't have a car. Dangit! >.< Will need to go there again..!

As compensation, I'll need to find time to play the Ring on GT4..! XD

A new journey?

Sometimes, it can be hard to believe that the world is so small that where you are no longer matters because wherever you are, you'll see different people from foreign countries, able to experience different food culture, social activities and sometimes even history.

It used to matter where you are. Where you are determines who and what you are. It doesn't quite apply these days...

Recently, I have been in Germany - around Dusseldorf, Munich and Nurburg areas. Meeting new people, engage in a new environment, experience various things around did help clear my mind off...aaaaaaaaah~ *sigh*

Anyways...

An offer has been given to me in another country in the far east. New focus, new environment, new culture, new lifestyle, new prospects.

Looking back, ever since coming to Belgium, I was never staying put in one place for a long time. Some years in Antwerp, another few years in Plymouth, another in Exeter, back to Antwerp as a different person, and now to another country. Not sure for how long...

For all those times, this time I feel a bit harder to detach myself from Antwerp.

It's not about the culture, the society, the people, the friends, the food, the lifestyle, the (in)dependence, or anything that relates to my surrounding or my activities.

Nevertheless, am quite set to go. Need to wrap up the things here, book my flight, pack my things, and off I go...

When...

...I don't even know...yet.

It doesn't seem like there are any other options.

So it seems that this chapter is about to end, and another will ensue...

What it'll bring, I really have no idea. I can only guess, but guessing is bad for mental health...so I do my best not to do it... >.<

But looking at the bright side, hmmm....definitely interesting... ^^

Looking at the gloomy side, hmmm... *sigh*~

Looking at what God's will is, hmmm...God loves to be funny with me... ^^;

Only time will tell my beloved blog...only time will tell...

Jim Brickman feat. Wayne Brady - Beautiful

From the moment I saw you,
from the moment I looked into your eyes
there was something about you
I knew I knew
that you were once in a life time
a treasure near impossible to find
and I know how blessed I am to have you

Chorus:
Cause I've seen the rainbows that can take your breath away
the beauty of the setting sun that ends a perfect day
and when it comes to shooting stars, I've seen a few
but I've never seen anything...as beautiful as you

Holding you in my arms
no one else has fit so perfectly
I could dance forever with you, with you
and at the stroke of midnight
please forgive me if I can't let go
cause I never dreamed I'd find a Cinderella of my own

Chorus:
Cause I've seen the rainbows that can take your breath away
the beauty of the setting sun that ends a perfect day
and when it comes to shooting stars, I've seen a few
but I've never seen anything...as beautiful as you

Chorus repeat:
Cause I've seen the rainbows that can take your breath away
the beauty of the setting sun that ends a perfect day
and when it comes to shooting stars, I've seen a few
but I've never seen anything...
Oh Oh, Oh no, I've never seen anything...as beautiful as you

from the moment I saw you,
from the moment I looked into your eyes...

Disenchanted trip

Was on a church trip at Dusseldorf for 3 days.

Totally unexpected.

I expected a series of events to occur. I didn't care about anything else. I didn't care about where we go, where we stay, what we eat, or anything else. The whole purpose of the trip was 1) unwind and 2) meet someone. The former was fulfilled to some level. There was two things in my mind, but wasn't serious nor moderate. The latter was...unexpected. :/

Oh well.

Still, managed to mingle with people. I guess some people were surprised that I can and know how to mingle. Am sure this trip gave 'em an eye-opener about me... ^^

Anyways, am glad to meet with some new people, and getting to know more about the people that I've meet before but don't regular see. And *sigh* generally have someone in my head all the time doesn't quite help...

The entire group was a good mix of different background and generations - from the youngest of few years old to the oldest of 70s/80s? The group wasn't large, so it was pretty easy to move around and get to know different people.

So, the most intriguing thing that I learnt through real experience from others is that in any business, know/learn the tricks and play the game. Fine, it's nothing new to me, but it was exhilarating to learn the details behind certain businesses/events from older generations.

Nothing is new under the sun. What's different is the form and style.

I wonder if I'll ever meet them again...

I wonder...

Am exhausted.

Back to Germany this weekend for...!

Lost

Am so lost...for words...

If only I could...

...then it would be...

...and at least...

...and who knows...

...

...it feels so...

...unbelievable...
